Loans for Alberta students
In Alberta there are two sources of student loan funding:
- The Government of Alberta provides Alberta Student Loans which are administered by EDULINX Canada.
- The Government of Canada provides Canada Student Loans which are administered by the National Student Loans Service Center
To apply for these student loans you are only required to submit one application through the Alberta Application for Financial Assistance. If you are eligible, you may receive funding from both sources. The decision as to whether you receive an Alberta and/or Canada Student Loan is automatically made for you from the one application.
