Dr. Meredith Davis is an educator, author, design researcher and head of the PhD in Design program at the College of Design at NC State University. She has been internationally recognized for her teaching and research in the field of design education, and the relationship between design and cognition. She is the recipient of more than 50 national and international design awards and is former President of the American Centre for Design, and founding President of the Graphic Design Education Association. Through her research work, Dr. Davis continues to explore the use of design in achieving the goals of educational reform in K-12 schools.
