Artist Talk

The Banff Centre, Telus Studio, Jeanne and Peter Lougheed Building

German photographer and filmmaker Thomas Demand will speak about his current photo-based practice. Demand has participated in numerous international exhibitions including the Venice Biennale, the Sao Paulo Bienal and a solo exhibition at the MOMA, New York.
 
The lecture is presented as a collaboration led by the Banff Centre in association with the University of Calgary Department of Art and the Illingworth Kerr Gallery at the Alberta College of Art + Design.
