Join ACAD’s Art + Design Now lecture series as we welcome our keynote speaker; artist Scott Rogers.

As a Canadian visual artist who works primarily in site specific projects and experimental collaborations, Scott Rogers has been exhibited nationally from Halifax and Moncton, to Kelowna and Minneapolis. He is a Canadian visual artist, writer and curator with a practice focusing on site-specific, context sensitive and collaborative projects which examine and critique architecture, identity, pedagogy and the nature and politics of creative activity. Scott Roger’s recent work has focused on experimental collaborations with artists and viewers and architectural interventions investigating the possible subjectivity of built environments.

Art + Design Now introduces students to the professional world of the contemporary visual artist and designer. It is designed to support studio-based education in Fine Arts, Crafts, Design, Media Arts + Digital Technologies. This course presents current conceptual and critical approaches and practices relevant to these disciplines.
