Dorie Millerson holds an MFA in textiles from NSCAD University and an honours diploma in fibre from the Ontario College of Art & Design. She works in a variety of constructed textile techniques ranging from weaving to lace making to investigate themes such as mending, attachment and memory. Her artwork is regularly exhibited in Canada, the United States and most recently at the Cheongju International Craft Biennale, in South Korea. She is an Assistant Professor in Fibre at the Ontario College of Art & Design and also teaches textiles at the Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning.
