Open Workshop for All Students
February 3, 2010 | 12:00 - 2:00 PM
Room 431 | ACAD

With Adam Tindale and Paul Robert

Come join us to learn about the linux operating system and try it out on your computer. We will show you how to load linux onto a USB key so that you do not have to modify your computer in order to try it out.

Linux is a free open source software operating system. There are many applications available for free that may be of interest to students looking for a free solution for media authoring, web design, video editing, image editing or many others.

Feel free to come ask questions or try linux out for yourself. Looky loo’s are welcome.
