Rachel Betts-Wilmott's practice focuses on developing a personal symbolic vernacular of characters culled from childhood memories, family lore and personal anecdotes. In The Altar of the Goose, the Camel and the Giraffe, she is exploring the traditions of religious art through composition and medium, using tapestry to elevate the importance of personal history.
