Everyone Welcome

Part of a continuing series of exhibitions that showcase the diversity of work produced by the ACAD community, this exhibition gives students a glimpse of the issues their instructors are currently exploring in their own practices. The exhibition is open to all faculty members and will feature new work produced in 2009 and 2010.

The ACAD All Faculty Exhibition at the Illingworth Kerr Gallery brings together recent and new work for the first time. Faculty artists, designers and writers from all departments are represented in a wide range of media, from performance and ephemera to photography, commercial graphic design, ceramics, glass, new media, jewelry, metal, fabric, printmaking, installation art and new genre.  Each creative brings a specific approach to their focus in art and/or design, often complicating their art making or design strategies in the process of expanding the parameters of their practice. It is an exhibition capable of accommodating itself to diverse contexts and whose meaning and visual surfaces may be perceived very differently according to respective contexts.
