Exciting exhibition of work by award winning ACAD Faculty opens at the Illingworth Kerr Gallery

April 15, 2010, 2010 (Calgary, Alberta) – The Alberta College of Art + Design is pleased to celebrate the opening of the 2010 All Faculty Exhibition at the Illingworth Kerr Gallery. Join us on April 15, 2010 for the opening reception of this important exhibition, which will run through April 24, 2010.

The ACAD All Faculty Exhibition at the Illingworth Kerr Gallery brings together recent and new work for the first time. Faculty artists, designers and writers from all departments are represented in a wide range of media, from performance and ephemera to photography, commercial graphic design, ceramics, glass, new media, jewelry, metal, fabric, printmaking, installation art and new genre.  Each artist and design showcased in this exhibition brings a specific approach to their focus in art and/or design, often complicating their art making or design strategies in the process of expanding the parameters of their practice. The ACAD All Faculty Exhibition is a venue for some of ACAD’s most exciting faculty to showcase the diverse contexts of their work, and to share with our community their individual practice.
